HOW DID www.LetNoChildGoHungry.org GET STARTED AND
BY WHOM?
www.LetNoChildGoHungry.org was founded by a business
professional in honor of a childhood memory of their grandmother's concern for
the hungry children of the world coupled with a spiritual calling to do something
about it. They offer the following story relative to the origin of www.LetNoChildGoHungry.org.
"I wanted to find a way to make the
benevolence of helping hungry children also "make good business
sense" in the community of business professionals and their clients and
customers (a community of which I had been and expected to continue to be a
part of). I chose this demographic "source" initially as I
knew it was one where
"business by referral" is critical and in which participants are
perpetually looking for ways to differentiate themselves in a positive way
with their clients and customers. With that in mind, I felt that setting up a
giving "quid pro quo"
between professionals and their customers and clients for the benefit of
hungry children might
just do some good! I thought about it for over a year and little by
little the way it would work came to me to the point I knew the time was right
to move forward, and the rest as they say, is 'history' ". [NOTE:
The founder of www.LetNoChildGoHungry.org
chooses to remain anonymous.]
It is envisioned that over time www.LetNoChildGoHungry.org
will evolve beyond the various 'categories' of business professionals to other
business 'areas' to include other
service type businesses and product and retail businesses as well. The key
to continued development of www.LetNoChildGoHungry.org will be working with
members of various business areas and categories within those areas to establish
appropriate www.LetNoChildGoHungry.org giving guidelines and considerations that are both beneficial to hungry children but also a
compliment to effective business operations. Those
wishing to participate in expansion of these additional areas or just other
categories of the initial business professionals business area are urged to contact
us at Information@LetNoChildGoHungry.org.
